Beer Battered Fish

Ingredients:

2 lbs of fish, fillets work best
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 cup of your favorite beer
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Dash nutmeg (optional)
 
 
 
 

Recipe Description:

In medium bowl, mix dry ingredients until blended well. Mix in beer and vegetable oil until smooth and not lumpy.

Dip fish into batter, flip gentley to cover both sides. Deep fry until dark golden brown and the fillets begin to float to the top.

TIP: The hotter the oil the better the results.
 

Serves - 3-4
