Cashew Crusted Walleye

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups cashews
1 1/2 lbs walleye filets (Skinned)
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
 
 
 
 
 
 

Recipe Description:

Make a egg wash with the egg and milk, (whisk thoroughly). Chop the cashews (a food processor works well) to the consistency of corn meal. Put the oil in your pan frying skillet, and heat. (add the butter for additional flavoring...or to add calories)

Wash the fillets with the egg wash and dip them into the ground cashews. Place in the skillet and fry until golden, turning once.

Drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
