Oven Poached Walleye

Ingredients:

2 1/4 lbs of walleye fillets (skinned)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
Sliced green onions
lemon wedges
 
 
 
 
 

Recipe Description:

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Place the fillets in a 13x9" baking dish. Sprinkle with salt pepper and paprika. Pour the milk over the fish. Cover with foil. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until the fish just begin to flake.

Lift the fillets from the poaching liquid. Place on a serving platter, drain and discard the liquid. Sprinkle fish with onions and lemon juice.

Great with sliced fresh tomatoes and green peppers.
